Logan Center Bluesfest

October 19-21, 2018

The Logan Center continues its tradition of celebrating and promoting the rich cultural landscape of Chicago's South Side with a three day festival of concerts, workshops, film, food, and conversation. From October 19–21, 2018, the Logan Center Bluesfest will feature local and national musicians and artists in spaces throughout the Logan Center.

2017 Logan Center Bluesfest

The Logan Center launched the Logan Center Bluesfest in Fall 2017. The inaugural event, held Ocgt 13-15, featured performances by celebrated artists and local legends, as well as workshops and educational programming to inspire the next generation of blues musicians and aficionados.

The festival was also accompanied by a photography exhibition that celebrated Chicago's vibrant blues and jazz. The juried exhibition was held in conjunction with the Hyde Park Jazz Festival.

Over 1,000 people participated in the festivals concerts, presentations, workshops, film screenings, and panels.
